1. Self-Service Deletion via Dashboard

Instant removal of individual leads, pipeline stages, or store catalogs

You can immediately delete any lead records directly from your FollowUpX web dashboard:

Select Lead Record

Navigate to Leads list and open the target customer detail panel.

Click Delete Lead

Click the "Delete Lead" button in the options menu and confirm.

Immediate Unlink

The phone number and scheduled reminders are instantly unlinked from active queues.

2. Complete Account Deletion Process

Permanent erasure of all business data, history, and active sessions

If you wish to terminate your FollowUpX account and permanently purge all stored customer data, you can submit a deletion request through either method below:

Option A: In-App Account Closure

Go to Dashboard > Settings > Security & Sessions and select "Request Account Deletion".

Option B: Email Request to Privacy Team

Send an email from your registered FollowUpX account email to privacy@followupx.in with the subject line DATA DELETION REQUEST - [Your Registered Email].

3. Erasure Timeline & Statutory Exemptions

What happens upon submitting a deletion request

Within 48 Hours:

Account is disabled, WhatsApp automation tokens are revoked, and lead pipelines are unindexed from search.

Within 30 Days:

Complete cryptographic erasure from active database clusters and rotating backup snapshots.

Legal & Tax Retention Exemptions:

Paid subscription invoice records, GST tax summaries, and chargeback dispute documentation must be retained for the statutory period mandated by Indian tax authorities (CGST Act).
